General terms and conditions for audio guestbook rental services

1. General Provisions

These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between the service provider Svadobný Záznamník and the customer who rents an audio guestbook for a wedding or other event.

By submitting an order, the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

The provider reserves the right to change these terms. The current version is always available on this page.

2. Order and Reservation

Orders are placed through the online form on the website. After submitting the order, the customer will receive a confirmation email.

The reservation is valid only after payment of the full amount or deposit according to the selected payment method.

The customer is obliged to provide accurate and complete contact information including delivery address.

3. Rental Period and Delivery

The standard rental period is 4 days (delivery day, day before event, event day, return day). Extended rental is available for an additional fee.

The device is delivered by courier service 1-2 days before the event. The exact delivery date will be communicated by email.

After the event, the customer is obliged to return the device in original packaging using the enclosed return label.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is made securely through the Stripe payment gateway. We accept card payments and bank transfers.

The rental price includes the device, accessories, delivery, recording processing and digital delivery of the resulting files.

For some products, a deposit may be required, which will be refunded after the device is returned without issues.

5. Device Usage Rules

The customer is obliged to use the device according to the enclosed instructions. The device is intended exclusively for recording voice messages.

It is prohibited to:

  • Disassemble or modify the device
  • Use the device in extreme conditions (high humidity, temperature, dust)
  • Submerge the device in water or other liquids
  • Rent the device to third parties

6. Return and Damage

The device must be returned complete and in the condition in which it was delivered. Normal wear is not charged.

In case of damage or loss of the device, the customer will be charged compensation according to the price list.

Late return of the device may be charged a fee of €10 for each day of delay.

7. Recordings and Data

All recordings are processed within 14 business days of returning the device and delivered digitally to the customer.

The provider stores recordings for 30 days after delivery. After this period, they are permanently deleted.

The customer owns all rights to recordings made by their guests. The provider does not use them for marketing purposes without consent.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation more than 14 days before the event: 100% refund of the paid amount.

Cancellation 7-14 days before the event: 50% refund of the paid amount.

Cancellation less than 7 days before the event or after shipping: no refund.

9. Liability

The provider is not liable for technical problems caused by improper use of the device or force majeure.

The maximum amount of compensation is limited to the amount paid for the rental.

10. Final Provisions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent court in the Slovak Republic.
